NEWS 2016

12.16.16 and 12.17.16 Two amazing nights with the ladies who rock Lez Zeppelin led to an amazing review by Alex Green on Stereo Embers Magazine. THANK YOU! Click the image for more.

Singer Marlain Angelides not only has all of Robert Plant’s moves down cold, she’s got her own individual swagger and her voice is filled with power and heart.

12.08.16 ROCK N ROLL ANTHOLOGY : From Folk To Fury event featured LEZ ZEPPELIN. What a rush!

12.05.2016 Booked a complete VO campaign of a great product as the #voiceof. Releasing in 2017. American accent. So happy ;-)

11.12.16 PLAY IT LOUD, a book by the legendary Guitar World ex Editor, Brad Tolinski, was released and we got a chance to Ramble On with 4 songs...

10.20.16 About a day after I joined Lez Zeppelin, the beautifully talented Steph Paynes whisked me off to the studio saying 'learn The Lemon Song' in the morning and stuck me in front of a mic to sing it within a few hours. Little did I know this was going to happen: and to top it all off it is the track that the glorious #LitaFord is also featured. Steph has her own song on there too, Lez has Leesa Harrington Squyres on drums and Megan X Thomas on bass, as well as a bunch of other super talented well reknowned female rock guitarists have their own tracks. Out in January '17 on #SteveVai's record label, I am sitting on hot coals till then....and squeezing lemons till I fall right out of bed, bed, bed, bed....(click image for more)

06.27.2016 Sometimes I get to do things out of the normal box I am put in! Here I am as a vulnerable mom going through divorce who is the everlasting fixer of all things broken. The staged reading FOR ALL MY GIRLS was a great success, now going into full production, dates/venue tbc, in Fall 2016. I also got to play opposite these amazing ladies, R&B stars, Monifah Carter and Adina Howard, and theater superstar April Nixon.

06.10.2016 Just completed the second of two acoustic gigs, the first at Lower East Side Festival and the second at Cornelia St Cafe, where some new songs were sung and some fun was had and there was some awesome playing by Iakov Kremenskiy. Here is a less than 30 sec clip of what went down.

05.13.16 Entering into the world of a Grecian Rock Opera, at The Players Theater, NYC, made me get in touch with my Greek and metal band roots. Plus we received awards from UNESCO. Fellow singers Elaine Tuttle, George Tsalikis, Dom Giovanni and band Porphyra together with  awesome set of dancers took the stage for 3 shows. Here is a video and some photos by Christos Kavvadas:
